Quick answers

What does Clipolette cost?

  • Free to download
  • What's free: Every editing tool is free. Free exports carry a watermark until the one-time purchase.
  • Remove Watermark: $24.99 — Removes the watermark from exports. Pay once, keep it forever.

Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price for your country.

Which devices does it run on?

  • iPhone (iOS 18.0 or later)
  • iPad (iPadOS 18.0 or later)
  • Mac (macOS 15.4 or later)

Also good to know:

  • Ranking best moments (Find Best Moments) uses Apple Intelligence: iOS 26 / iPadOS 26 / macOS 26 Tahoe on a supported device, and the video needs sound. Without it, Clipolette finds scene changes in the picture instead.
  • Also 26-series OS only (iOS 26 / iPadOS 26 / macOS 26): saved projects, Post Kit's written text, smoother slow motion, and Enhance.
  • Everything else — captions, translation, framing, scene detection, trimming and slow motion — works on iOS 18 / iPadOS 18 / macOS 15.4 and later (on Mac also multiple windows and background exports).
  • Captions need the language's dictation model on the device. Clipolette adds it (on macOS 15.4 it points you to System Settings); audio never leaves the device. Translation needs that language downloaded too.
  • iPhone and iPad: keep Clipolette open while it scans, finds moments, adds captions or exports. Locking the device can stop the work.
  • Mac: keep Clipolette open and the Mac awake. Scene analysis and exports keep running at full speed while you work in other apps.
  • Apple Vision Pro runs the iPad app in compatibility mode (visionOS 2.0 or later); there is no native visionOS app.

Where is the app's privacy policy?

Clipolette has its own privacy policy, also linked from its App Store listing. How this website handles visits is described in the privacy notice.

Is this the official Clipolette website?

Yes. www.clipolette.com is run by FuturaApp, Inc., the developer of Clipolette. See About.
